Bronte Bakery is owned by seventh - generation baker Mark Grossman pictured above at the age of one with his grandfather at the original site of Bronte Bakery at Waverly. Mark started learning how to bake bread at the age of ten years old. Marks's grandfather was well known in Sydney for his quality bread and used to supply delis, the Navy, the Army and the Airforce.

Bronte Bakery produces a fantastic selection of quality breads made using traditional baking methods and only the finest ingredients. "We want to bring back the manufacturing of 'real' bread made with authentic ingredients, " Mark said. Sourdough breads are a Bronte Bakery specialty with traditional black Russian, wholemeal and kalamata olive, all hand molded.

Bronte Bakery breads are available in a variety of delis, cafés, supermarkets and fruit shops in Sydney and Canberra. Also Bronte Bakery supplies custom made breads for movie sets and popular TV shows like MasterChef Australia and My Kitchen Rules.
